The Met Gala 2016's Truly Terrifying Red Carpet Highlights
Brave new world.
Things got very IRL Hunger Games at this year's Met Gala where out of this universe outfits birthed some of the most beautiful memes of the new Millennium. Beyoncé took ~revenge~ dressing to the next level in a number that looked like literal skin, Kanye matched his baby blues to his baby blues, and pretty much everyone did some variation of futuristic super villain.
'Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology' was the theme of choice for the annual slay-fest, something that every celeb set about interpreting in the most literal way possible. From Star Wars references, to many interpretations of robots, and an actual Tamagotchi, their outfits truly had that "fifth element" we were looking for. But the real winner was your good friend the internet who'll help co-present our red carpet highlights this year.
Please join us on a journey into this brave new world in 3, 2, 1…
The kween of controversy took the translucent thing to a very serial killer place this year. Her latex-y gown is suspected to be a skin-suit made from the epidermus of poor, poor Becky (who clearly clearly had a very serious full-body acne issue at the time of death).

We hate to say it, but:
Kim and Kanye
Team Kimye's obvious resemblance to any and all food products packaged in tin foil was okay by us. You say potato, we say Sara Lee cheesecake.

Kanye really gave us some things to think about with that soulful blue gaze.
