Therese Rawsthorne Ensemble SS12/13 Lookbook
"A hacked-up homemade vintage men's shirt was a big inspiration."
Therese Rawsthorne has released the SS12/13 lookbook for her fany basics line, Ensemble. While still echoing the direction of the mainline with clean lines and thoughtful accents, Ensemble pushes for a more comfort-oriented mode of dressing. Even though relaxed styles are what's up here, these clothes were made to be seen.
"It is super laid back with raw finishes, cut-off hems and a real feeling of throw on, dishevelled, hot weather dressing. A hacked-up homemade vintage men's shirt was also a big inspiration for Ensemble this season and the detailing of it runs through all the pieces in the home-style buttonholes and slightly wrong placket detailing. Denim is bleached back to pale washed out blues, and the rolled-up oversized Arbus short is a particular favourite of mine," Therese told Oyster.
For the lookbook, Jess Gold is shot by Bec Parsons, and the art direction/layout is by Radge.
