Tom Ford Fall 2011 Video Look-book

Tom Ford releases Fall 2011 look-book, doesn't hate the Internet as much as we thought.

Tom Ford is a bit like those annoying people who say they have to tell you something awesome and then decide to refuse to tell you. Except that, while it's usually possible to cajole those people into disclosure, this is not the case with Tom Ford. Example - his Fall 2011 collection was presented to a VIP audience who had to sign a non-disclosure agreement before being allowed in. Photographers couldn't photograph, editors couldn't tweet, celebrities couldn't score front-row goodie bags and Cathy Horyn was pissed.

But, soon after announcing plans for a make-up line, Tom Ford uploaded a video look-book of his precious collection to his website, proving himself capable of doing what no one thought possible - he made the Internet wait. So what will happen now? Will editors screenshot the slinky lace gowns and lush furs and twitpic them with the hashtag #ISawItLive? Will bloggers date their blogs back to 21/02/2011 so as not to disrupt the flow of resort 2012 posts? Or will everything just be totally normal, except that people won't be sick of seeing the clothes plastered all over magazine covers by the time they finally hit stores?
