Watch: 'Afraid of Heights' by Wavves

Nathan Williams does drag.

With their new album Afraid of Heights out today, the video clips from Wavves are coming in thick and fast and staying with us long after we've watched them. Following on from the Lord of the Flies-esque kids junkyard gang in 'Demon to Lean On', the video for 'Afraid of Heights' starts off as what we would describe as cute, before becoming a little bit odd, and finally moving in to full on serial killer/psychopath territory.

Band members Nathan Williams and Stephen Pope play two cross-dressing lovers, who, after donning black flowing gowns and fauning over each other (the cute part), head to a bar where they find pleasure in talking up two guys (getting a bit odd here), and take them home resulting in a real chills-down-your-spine ending — VHS lines and static included.
