Watch: 'All Your Gold' by Bat For Lashes
Plus Bat For Lashes, Tim and Eric style.
Mystical songstress Natasha Khan (aka Bat For Lashes) has released the video for 'All Your Gold'. The streamlined sound of her third studio album, The Haunted Man, is captured in this pared-back black-and-white clip, of which the seaside setting is appropriately haunting and beautiful. The video mirrors the cover art for the album (above), which was shot Ryan McGinley (who we interviewed for Oyster #91).
The video cuts from day to night, as Bat For Lashes does some interpretative dance in alternating monochrome ensembles, which includes the best unitard ever. If these killer dance moves are anything to go by, it looks like Bat For Lashes has added choreographer to her portfolio during her two-year hiatus.
The Haunted Man will be released on 15 October. In the meantime, we'd like to share with you this blast from the past — Eric Wareheim's take on Bat For Lashes' song 'Daniel'. Tim and Eric's show at The Metro tonight is sold out, however you can still buy tickets to see them in Sydney tomorrow at The Factory Theatre, or The Tivoli in Brisbane on Thursday.
