Watch: Anna Dello Russo x H&M

A (fashion) shower of glitz and glory.

H&M has just released a glitzy new video to promote their upcoming collaboration with larger-than-life fashion icon, Anna Dello Russo. Although the accesories-only collection doesn't hit stores until October 4, the high street retailer has already begun rolling out promotional material to drum up the hype. Featuring gilded shoes of epic proportions (Anna can be seen sitting atop said shoes), and a not-for-sale pop song as its accompaying track, the video is a veritable celebration of excess.

Though the ever-busy Fashion Director for Vogue Nippon released a similar teaser video via her website earlier this year, the extended version directed by Alex Turvey is a lot more OTT. Entitled Fashion Shower, the idea is that Anna will transform us all with her accessories line and her sage advice. Throughout the video, the super skinny, self-proclaimed "guardian of fashion" can be seen dancing around in her custom latex dress by H&M, flashing those insanely long legs of hers and delivering fashion 'lessons' in the form of a rap melody.

The Anna Dello Russo x H&M line marks a first for the high street retailer, who have released many a designer collaboration, but never one that features accessories-only. So we look forward to seeing the final collection, which will no doubt be sold out in seconds.
