Watch: Arcade Fire in Haiti
A video montage of the band's charity work in Haiti.
Arcade Fire have been busy making other bands look bad with ther ongoing charity work in Haiti. They've already run a fundraising campaign where they matched donations dollar for dollar, written newspaper articles, and more recently, gave a lecture at the University of Texas where they discussed their work. They've been doing all of this, as well as making albums as good as The Suburbs, and recording the odd track for movie franchises like The Hunger Games. (Consider their contribution 'Abraham's Daughter' reason #11 to go see the film). The Canadian band have now released a video of their two recent trips to Haiti, which took place in March 2011 and February this year, soundtracked by their song 'Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)'. We catch glimpses of the band's work with the organisation Partners in Health, and footage of their concert in Cange, Haiti, from last year.
