Watch: Aubrey Plaza In Miu Miu Short Film Trailer
Also stars Rinko Kikuchi and more — all dressed in Miu Miu (best film wardrobe ever).
Aubrey Plaza (who we interviewed for Oyster #95) stars in the fourth and final installment of Miu Miu's 'Women's Tales' series. Directed by Iran-born California-raised Massy Tadjedin, It's Getting Late follows five women as they leave work and go see Zola Jesus play live. Fellow Oyster girl Rinko Kinkuchi also stars, as does the very awesome Patricia Clarkson, Bond girl Gemma Arterton and Italian actress Maya Sansa. Zola Jesus and Au Revoir Simone supply the soundtrack and Miu Miu, of course, supply the wardrobe.
The full short will make its premiere at the Venice Film Festival today, alongside the three others in Miu Miu's series — The Powder Room directed by Zoe Cassavetes, Muta directed by Lucrecia Martel and The Woman Dress directed by Giada Colagrande.
Meanwhile, Aubrey looks a little less glamorous and a lot more hilarious in the trailer for The To Do List., an upcoming comedy directed by Funny Or Die writer Maggie Carey. The film also includes McLovin from Superbad, both Maeby AND Anne/Egg from Arrested Development, Bill Hader and Andy Samberg from SNL, Clark Gregg from the excellent web series he made with Michael Cera Clark and Michael, and Donald Glover from Community and those comedy rap songs. It's out February 14th so go by yourself so you can cry about being alone on Valentine's Day in a darkened cinema where nobody can see the tears.
