Watch: 'Ballad of the War Machine' by Midnight Juggernauts

Plus they announce Australian tour dates.

Crazy Russian videos seem to have become a YouTube staple over the past year, from meteors raining down terror to a school kid sculling a bottle of vodka before class (standard). Australian band Midnight Juggernauts has jumped on the bandwagon, covertly releasing their new video 'Ballad of the War Machine' through Russian discussion boards and blogs. Posing as an obscure art-pop band performing on a Soviet state-run music program from three decades ago, many internet users actually believed this eleborate trick. Watch it below!

The single 'Ballad of the War Machine' will be on the band's new album of the same name and they'll be heading on a tour of the east coast of Australia, with special guests YesYou, for the official launch:

Friday 19 April — The Zoo, Brisbane
Saturday 20 April — Oxford Art Factory, Sydney
Wednesday 24 April — The Corner Hotel, Melbourne
