Watch: 'Carmen' by Lana Del Rey
Hoop earrings and the molecular structure of methamphetamine.
The pout is back in typical Lana Del Rey low-fi home video form with her new clip for 'Carmen'. Tweeting last night that “it explains everything”, the song and its video tells the story of a teenager battling with substance abuse (hence the shots of the molecular structure of methamphetamine thrown in there with the pole dancers), which could be reflective of Lana’s personal history of alcohol abuse. You can catch her at Splendour this year.
