Watch: 'Everything Is Embarrassing' by Sky Ferreira
Even though probably NOTHING is embarrassing when you're that hot.
Sky Ferreira, who has been threatening to blow up for the better part of three years, has released the video for 'Everything Is Embarrassing'. Composed in collaboration with Dev Hynes (who we interviewed for our Music Issue) and Ariel Rechtshaid, it's a bit of a slow jam. A notable departure from her early electro-pop sound, 'Everything Is Embarrassing' adopts 80s beats and sugary 90s power-pop melodies. Not only is it super catchy, but the black-and-white video is transfixing (and beats the hell out of Terry Richardson's red-lipstick-tarantula-underpants party. Sorry, dude). Sky's EP Ghost comes out on 16 October.
