The 91-year-old tells us "style is all about attitude" and invites us into her home.
The trailer for a documentary about Iris Apfel has hit the internet. The fashion maverick, who celebrated her 91st birthday a few days ago, has ventures including designing makeup, jewellery, eyewear and handbags, and she's even thinking about opening a Madison Avenue store called 'Sleeves'.
In the trailer, Iris invites us into the home she shares with a dancing rabbit doll and other curiosities, poses on the red carpet with Alexander Wang, and dishes out pearls of wisdom to eager fashion design students. "There's such a big, wonderful world under the fashion umbrella," Iris reminds us. "I think the greatest fashion faux pas is looking in the mirror and seeing someone else. Relax and have fun with your clothes," she says. Amen, sister! Bruce Weber also makes an appeareance, as does her husband of "60/70 odd years."
