Acid brights, hula hoops and shoulder rolling.
Here we have a fun little video for Kenzo Pre-Fall 2012. It was directed by femme de film, Quentin Jones, whose repertoire spans to include Chanel, Vogue UK and AnOther Mag.
For Kenzo, Jones works alongside designers Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, resulting in a hyper-cool two minutes of planned chaos. There are streamers affixed to hula hoops, cartoon ducks and shoulder rolling. Yeah, shoulder rolling! (see 0:28). All is set against street art and city fence, with acid brights aplenty. Almost like a live, real–time collage, this thing moves faster than the speed of light, so pay attention. And though the cool as shit flamboyance is distinctly Kenzo, we're feeling some serious Fresh Prince overtones. Check it out:
