Watch: Lana Del Rey Reveals Album Release Date

Candid camera.
If you're a fan of Lana Del Rey and her sultry sadcore pop, you might be stoked to find out that she revealed a potential release date for her forthcoming album Ultraviolence, albeit in a vague way. This happened to occur while getting videotaped by some fans who were talking to her/fawning over her, which is obviously now all over the internet.

After singing a really Lana Del Rey-esque 'Happy Birthday' to one of the incredibly excited fans, she was asked about the release date to which she casually replied "May 1st" then was all, "Is that on video? I think, I don't know," she said and proceeded to discuss the record, expressing the 'romantic feeling' she has about it. As the Hollywood-obsessed singer said, "it was so good that it made me forget about the last record."

Since her platinum 2012 album, she's gotten up to a thing or two like starring in her 30 minute short film, Tropico and having her Gatsby song shortlisted for the Oscars. This candid accidental-teaser video ought to get the LDR fans a'frothing.
