Watch: Miranda Kerr Singing In Bizarre Japanese Advertisement
The supermodel sings a jingle for Lipton ice tea.
This is Miranda Kerr as you've never seen her before, and you'll wish you hadn't after this jingle gets stuck in your head. In a somewhat baffling career move, the supermodel has shot an ad campaign to become the new face for Lipton Limone in Japan. The Daily Telegraph describes it as "possibly the most cringeworthy ad ever made." Clad in a yellow and red maid's outfit, Miranda robotically sings (or lip syncs) the 'Limone Limone' jingle next to an old man whose face is mysteriously covered in cake and is then served the drink by a man in an obscuring robe. We can't help but wonder why Miranda decided to do the ad at all, considering her ongoing spot for Victoria's Secret and David Jones, as well as being a runway favourite, having just walked for Chanel yesterday morning. Miranda doesn't seem too impressed with herself either, check out her unconvincing 'Wow!?' at the beginning of the ad below. You would think that the Angels would've learned to stick to their day jobs after their attempt at Christmas carols last year.
