Watch: Olivier Zahm's Louis Vuitton Film

Following the screening of Prada's Polanski film, Louis Vuitton debuted a short at the closing of Cannes to promote their online magazine New, Now. Louis Vuitton worked with Purple's Editor-In-Chief Olivier Zahm on the video, which parodies the trailer of Jean-Luc Godard's 1963 film Le Mépris (Contempt).

Playing up to his reputation (see our interview from Oyster #96), Olivier is "the bad boy", and the film is a dramatic recreation of his last day at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year (although we kind of imagine this to be exactly what a day in his life would actually be like). The video opens with Louis Vuitton's show in the morning, and closes with the launch of the Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs exhibition that same night, managing to fit in everything from "tenderness", "lies", "revenge", "desire", "drama" and Marc Jacobs in a skirt. Olympia Le-Tan (who also starred in #96) makes an appearance as "the pin-up", and model/actress Alice Aufray plays Louis Vuitton's modern-day Brigitte Bardot.
