Watch: 'Sad Dream' by Sky Ferreira

Sad but really attractive.

Sky Ferreira has released the video for her new single 'Sad Dream'. Forthright in approach, the song's title sums up the vibe of this track, which begs the question: why so glum, girlfriend? Sky's last clip for 'Everything Is Embarrassing' was a cutesy 90s sugary pop tribute, so this is a total diversion from that. The overlap, however, is her being outrageously/unfairly attractive in both.

The video sees a focus on pouting, intermingled with bouts of serious staring and other displays of melancholia. The whole feel is a bluesy one, complete with croony country-esque vocals, hair blowing around in the barren landscape and the kind of hazy dappled light that makes people seem ISOLATED and STRUGGLING.

Also check out Sky on Terry's Diary this month. She is featured both chilling at home (see image above), and, of course, as Terry himself.
