Magical babe Lana Del Rey hinted at her forthcoming studio album last month just before releasing the v dreamy single 'Love'. In support of the news, LDR played a surprise secret show at SXSW and smashed out the new single for the first time.
The news of the show was made public just a day before, but their were still mad fans there to catch favs like 'Cruel World', 'Video Games', 'Blue Jeans', 'Ride', 'Born to Die', and of course 'Love' — a debut that demanded full iPhone camera attention, resulting in footage that makes us feel like we were there <3

LDR recently spoke about her upcoming record on Jo Whiley's Radio 2 show. She promised it'll be "more socially aware" — maybe we can expect some kind of witchy anthem riffing off her Trump binding ritual.
"I started out thinking that the whole record was gonna have a sort of a 50s-60s feeling, kind of some kind of Shangri-Las, early Joan Baez influences," she told Jo Whiley. "But I don't know, as the climate kept on getting more heated politically, I found lyrically everything was just directed towards that. So because of that, the sound just got really updated, and I felt like it was more wanting to talk to the younger side of the audience that I have... it's kind of a global feeling."
