Win 'Girls' Season 1 on DVD

Plus, watch a deleted scene that includes cupcakes.

Let's not pretend that you're going to spend this summer outdoors like a normal human. Everybody knows that you're going to spend the majority of your time hatching complex schemes in order to avoid direct sunlight — like rewatching all of the truly brilliant television that has aired this year. Or, if you have been an actual functioning and productive member of society this year, perhaps you will spend some time watching these TV gems for the first time.

Whatever the case, we are here to help — we have five Girls Season 1 DVDs to give away, the show of 2012 created by heavenly creature Lena Dunham (who we interviewed for #99). All you have to do is fill in the form at the bottom of this post! Entries close on Friday 14 December at 5pm AEDT and are open to Australian residents. By filling in the form, you'll be signed up to our newsletter. If you've already signed up (nice work), then please enter your email below anyway so that you go in the chance to win (we won't email you twice or give your details away).

Let's also talk about this cupcake-based deleted scene: Are you bummed Hannah didn't end up getting the job? Do you think she and the snarky cupcake guy would've ended up bestfriends? How much do you hate Emur?

Girls Season 1 is out on DVD on Wednesday 12 December.
