YIMMY YAYO VS MBFWA — An Introduction

Yimmy Yayo is shooting Fashion Week exclusively for us. Learn more about the mysterious man here.

Yimmy Yayo is perhaps Australia’s most influential blogger, and is back on board this year as one of our exclusive Fashion Week contributors. He’ll be documenting all the moments that matter in his distinct, observational style. In the past, we’ve collaborated with Yimmy on Australian Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, Miu Miu in Beijing, and this month’s Oyster Daily, plus he’s recently worked with Nowness, AnOther Magazine, Mr Porter and Puma. Despite his incredible influence as a visual diarist and photographer, Yimmy has pretty much remained a man of mystery, which is an endearing attribute compared to the shameless self-promotion of some other bloggers. Here’s a rare opportunity to learn a little more about the mythical and elusive creature that is Yimmy Yayo...

Vegemite.

Tell us why you love the internet so much.
It's always been there for me, objectively, through thick and thin.

Can you take Oyster readers through the ultimate day in the life of Yimmy Yayo…
Wake up. Work. Eat. Work. Sleep. Work.

Favourite taste?
Women.

Favourite sight?
Tarmac.

Both.

Sky, but I don't see it enough.
