Young Blood: Designers Market
Before Sydney Design closes its doors for yet another year it is giving us one last chance to meet, greet and buy true one-offs from the brightest and quirkiest emerging design talent around. Young Blood is a maze of fashion, furniture, graphics and industrial design that allows us to uncover a few avant-garde creations, while giving design young-guns some much-needed exposure.
If you desire something with a global twist keep an eye out for Designboom Mart, which joins Young Blood this year after making a name for itself on the international festival circuit. This bazaar-like event it curated and presented by the imaginative online publication Designboom and is bound to result in a few unexpected conversations (and purchases).
Both markets will unfold in Sydney's Powerhouse Museum this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, making them the perfect way to nab some weekend inspiration.
