We all know what happens in the fash world across Europe and America over September — our feeds are bombarded with regrams of whatever stunt Demna decided to pull for Balenciaga or theeee besssssst Prada collection since SS96. But what’s happening over in Hong Kong is something that defs deserves your full attention: Centrestage.
Initiated in 2016 by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Centrestage is a relatively new platform giving spotlight to international Asian fashion brands. The fair first got our attention last year when our mates Ffixxed headlined the program with Juun.J.
This time around, they’ve only upped the excellence. Their headline designers, which will shows as part of the ‘Elites’ program, include the super interesting and cool Japanese label Facetasm , who you might know best via their collabs with P.A.M; local Hong Kong label Idism, who’re very sleek and proved a special way with colour in Paris for FW18; Chinese label Ms Min, who do posh creativity; as well as streetwear queen Martine Rose, who’ll be speaking at the event also.
