The Slam Jam x Vans Collab Taps Graphic Genius Fergus Purcell

Holy retailer Slam Jam released their Vans collab over the weekend and it’s super punky. Tapping graphic genius Fergus ‘Fergadelic’ Purcell, whose work you might best know from Palace, Aries, Ashley Williams and Marc Jacobs, the new shoe features midsole scrawls reminiscent of high school.

Up top, the checkerboard pattern is revived via Slam Jam’s classic red, black and off-white colour palette — which really set off Ferg’s illustrated logotypes. And the cherry on top is the contrasted red laces.

The collab is out now via Slam Jam, and the price is a tidy AUD$109.
