Victoria Beckham Throws It Back To Marc Jacobs 2008 In Her Latest Campaign

Anyone who’s even remotely into fashion remembers the Marc Jacobs SS08 campaign featuring Victoria Beckham — well, her legs. It’s without a doubt one of the best fashion ads ever. Shot by Juergen Teller, the campaign showed Posh Spice’s legs coming from a giant MJ shopping bag. It was totally iconic. And apparently, Posh thought so, too, because she’s decided to recreate the image in honour of her London Fashion Week debut on September 16.

To recreate the image, Beckham tapped Juergen Teller to shoot her again, this time in a Victoria Beckham bag.

“When Marc Jacobs featured me coming out of a shopping bag a decade ago, it really was just the beginning of my journey into the fashion industry,” she explained via Instagram. “It was so funny and ironic, and it came out just as I was about to present my debut collection.”

“I’ve always put all of me into my brand, and I wanted to convey that with these shots,” she added. “That I am and have literally always been putting Victoria Beckham into Victoria Beckham since 2008!”

This time, you can commemorate the images with a limited edition shirt, that will go on sale at Dover Street Market before Posh’s presentation. I mean, it’ll probably sell out in like, 2 seconds, but don’t worry — she’ll probably do a third version in another 10 years.
