FYI There’s A Clueless Reboot Coming

Whatever.

90s nostalgia is real — and never-ending. I mean, all you have to do is look at the New York and Paris runways for the last five years, or pretty much anything Hedi Slimane does, to know the era is alive and well. And now, it’s back on our TVs.

Over the last year, there’s been a slew of reboots of all of our favourite 90s shows: Charmed, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Heathers. And now, Clueless is making its way back to our laptops (or, I guess, making its way there for the first time). According to Variety, Paramount Pictures has hired Girls Trip‘s Tracy Oliver and a writer from GLOW to bring back our favorite ’90s teen movie.

And, you know, you should totally believe everything you read on the internet. Or, as we learned in our life lessons from Cher Horowitz: nothing is ever quite as it seems. But if it does become a real reboot, we know (from Cher, obv) that we should never settle — because, clearly, there’s no way it could ever be as good as the OG.

Though, truthfully, we’ll probably watch it when it comes out because, I mean, what else are we doing, it seems like the Paramount people should also read our previous Life Lessons article. As Cher so graciously taught us, you just can’t change people — or movies, in this case — you need to accept, or leave them as they are. And, in this case, that’s perfect.

Outie.
