Cardi B Explains Income Taxes, Reveals She Spends 300K A Month

Money.

Cardi B really was born to flex. Last night, the ‘Money’ singer took to Twitter to rant about income taxes and people who hate on her for spending a lot of money. Of course, she ended up deleting the video and subsequent tweets, but not before announcing she spends approximately 300K a month. Don’t worry, though — she tries to spend less! She just can’t seem to make it work.

“Do you know what I hate?” she asked in the now-deleted vid. “I hate when celebrities do something very extravagant or buy something very luxurious and there’s people in the comments like, ‘You could have donated that.’ It’s like, who are you to tell people what to do with their hard working ass money?”

She goes on to explain the process of income taxes, and how unfair it is that she has to make so much: “First of all, do you know that artists, celebrities, the IRS… automatically takes 45 percent of your check. That means in order to get $500,000, you gotta make at least a million.” Apparently, she thinks that only happens to celebrities.

Either way, she’s working on budgeting better. “My bills, I’ll say it’s about 300,000, 250,000 every single month,” she admitted. “And I try to put it cheaper and it just is not.”

But at least it’s not all going to her extravagant lifestyle. “Artists like me and a lot of rappers that I know, they literally take care of their whole family,” she said, “and that’s not tax deductible because the IRS don’t consider that a business.”

Though, honestly, we don’t see what all the hype is about. Cardi works hard and loves her money. Good for her. As for everything else? R.P.P: Rich People’s Problems.
