Remember two weeks ago when LVMH announced that Robyn Rihanna Fenty would be the first woman to create an original brand, Fenty? And remember when everyone flipped? Well, you’re going to somehow need to keep it together because…. FENTY IS ALREADY HERE. Kind of.
Earlier this week, the band released their first ever campaign showcasing their first ever collection giving us our first ever heart attack from a YouTube vid. Set to drop May 24 at a Paris pop-up and online May 29, the collection features tailored pieces, accessories and shoes all in the vein of Queen Rih’s actual style. Fenty will also release special edition pieces alongside core ‘See Now Buy Now’ looks outside of the fashion schedule. I mean, come on. It’s Rihanna. She makes her own rules.
“Women are forces of this earth. We are multifaceted, complex, vulnerable yet bulletproof, and Fenty speaks to all of our intricacies,” she said about the collection. “It was imperative that we created a line versatile enough to embrace and celebrate us.”
The campaign, which features a group of models, It girls and all around cool girls like Oyster favorite Dylan Chavles, shows the collection in warp speed — but we got a good enough look to know it’s GOOD.
“I’m just hyped to see people in my clothes, man,” said Rihanna. Us too. Us, too.
