The New Balenciaga Campaign Stars Real Parisian Couples And Real Parisian Love

Breakin’ my heart.

It’s been a good week for fashion campaigns. First, Bonds launched an incred new campaign that celebrates real talk, then Gucci gave us a vintage-inspired maximalist dream. Now, it’s Balenciaga’s turn, with a AW19 campaign starring IRL Parisian couples, and a sick new video by director Ed Fornieles.

In the campaign imagery, captured by photographer Greg Finck, the couples kiss and chill in effortless (and oversized) Balenciaga ‘fits. As for the video, Fornieles shot the couples in voyeur-style CCTV videos of the duos discussing their relationships in an underground garage.

Of course, Paris is the City of Love, so it makes sense the brand would shoot real life lovers. I just can’t decide what I love more — the campaign or the clothes.
