Oyster Beauty How-To: Devon Aoki for Oyster #31

All sass.

Back in the year 2000 for Oyster #31 we shot all-time babe Devon Aoki. See the full shoot here and get the look with our step-by-step beauty how-to below!Step 1: Start your look with fresh clean skin. Use Cleanse Off Oil/Tranquil and then pat dry. Mist your face with Mineralize Charged Water Spray and moisturise with Mineralize Charged Water Gel. Many hydration, much water.

Step 2: Keep things smooth and fresh. Use Prep and Prime and focus on your t-zone. Press Strobe Cream over the top of your cheekbones and temples; now you are dewy and ready for da club. Use Face and Body Foundation over the skin to keep this a ‘no make up make up’ sort of thing and conceal anything else you’d like with Select Cover Up Concealer and brush 195. Blend well.

Step 3: For this a cream blush works best and keeps things shiny — we love Casual Colour in Keep it Loose, it’s a peach dream. Smile and blend up and out from the apples of your cheeks using brush 159. Dust on some Set Powder to the nose, forehead and chin using brush 134.

Step 4: This look would not be 2000s enough without a metallic splash. Cover your whole eyelid with Cream Colour Base in Pearl right up to your brow. Brush 217 will help smooth the edges. Fill in your brows using Brow Gelcreme Fluidline Gel Cream and brush 208. The flat angle will make sure things don’t get too hectic.

Step 5: Moisturise your lips with MAC Cosmetics Lip Conditioner and then apply Supreme Sheen Lipstick in Fashion City with brush 316. Finish the look with a slick of gloss.
