Meet The Model: Blossoming Babe Susannah Liguori

Susannah Liguori is a beaut face who first came the the centre of the fash spotlight when Hedi Slimane plucked her out of relative obscurity and shot her for The New York Times Style mag in 2011. Now she’s doing her thing very successfully as a model, but directing most of her time toward her florist design studio called True Blue Blooms. Her total sweetness and sincerity is absolutely on the level with her delightful face, as we found out in our hard-hitting Meet The Model profile below…

What do you do outside of modelling?
After graduating NYU where I studied art, I grew pretty frustrated by the pressure to create something new and beautiful both in modelling and in art. I wanted to do something completely new and different so I began working for a florist in NYC and fell in love. I recently moved back to LA and have started my own florist design studio out of my moms basement called True Blue Blooms. We deliver bouquets sound the LA area. It’s pretty magical.

What inspires you most?
Mother Nature. I feel a tremendous responsibility not only to respect our planet but to highlight the beauty she provides us. I’ve thought a lot about the perfect object. Something that transcends surface perceptions of standard beauty. An object that can be received always with satisfaction and joy. Something that does not depend on occasion or gender. Something given from the heart and received the same. The earth provides us with such an object. This idea is what I like to think the backbone of what True Blue Blooms is trying to shine light on.

What songs or albums are soundtracking your life atm?
At the moment I am listening to the massage station on Sirius Xm. Spa-ing the LA traffic out.

Any personal beliefs or values that are meaningful to you?
Woman supporting woman and not just saying but doing pursuing acting. We have to have each others backs.

What celebrity or person from history do you have a crush on?
OPRAH.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
I like this right now maybe a mum too.

What scares you most?
Fear itself!

Best piece of advice you ever received?
Anything spoken from my crystal bearing junior guru guardian angel PhD big brother Jackson.

What is a skill you wish you possessed?
I wish I had a better grasp at languages.
