Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who we hold near and dear to our mood boards, have just announced that their line, The Row, is officially launching menswear. Looking over their rich fash history and style evolution, we can only hope that they’re leaning upon MK’s Ozzy Osbourne phase for inspo.
Apparently, over the past few years, the two have been secretly testing the men’s market with one-off pieces being road-tested by close friends. And now, it has been decided, that their fall 2018 menswear debut will see a full range of denim, knitwear, tailored separates and suits. Stuff for “the husband” according to Mary-Kate.
Exclusive: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s The Row is launching menswear. It's the result of a two-year project in which they and their small team traveled the globe, inspected seams, counted stitches and pitted factories against one another. Taking a page from industrial manufacturing, they employed performance trials that they call “wear-testing”: trying the clothes themselves or asking friends and associates to borrow samples and report back.
