There’s A Multi-Part Prince Documentary Coming To Netflix

Ava DuVernay magic.

According to internet whispers, there’s a multi-part Prince documentary in the works for Netflix and it apparently has the full support of Prince’s estate. It’ll cover the entire life of the purple icon through interviews, archival footage and photographs and we just cannot wait.

According to Variety, Ava DuVernay will be working her magic on this (Selma, 13th, Central Park 5). “Prince was a genius, a joy and a jolt to the senses. He was like no other,” DuVernay tweeted last night.

“He shattered preconceived notions, smashed boundaries, and shared his heart through his music. The only way I know how to make this film is with love and great care. I’m honoured to do so and grateful.”

Adding, “The only way I know how to make this film is with love.”

Ready and waiting.
