Burberry Reunites Danko Steiner And Nick Knight For Dynamic New Campaign

Get you a campaign that can do both.

It’s obvious that Riccardo Tisci’s vision at Burberry is broad — a 101 look FW19 show is not trying to disguise this. Swathing models with everything from the house’s classic supreme tailoring and iconic trench coats, to trackies with fur puff sleeved corsets and diamonté-fringed rugby jerseys, he needed a campaign that could do both — so to speak.

Feeling this, the house reunited contrasting photographers Nick Knight and Danko Steiner to capture the free and experimental youth perspective as well as the refined and classic, respectively.

“At the core of what we are doing at Burberry is a passion for the house to become an identity and a lifestyle – one that transcends barriers and is inclusive to all,” Tisci said. “This campaign explores the many facets of British culture and how they coexist. Together, Danko and Nick celebrate the importance of self-expression and identity through their own distinct lenses”

The cast includes Gigi Hadid, Irina Shayk, Fran Summers, Sora Choi, He Cong and Alexis Chaparro, alongside Freja Beha Erichsen, Finn Rosseel, Shayna McNeill, Anna Ross, Kacie Hall, Heejung Park, Mammina Aker, Xie Yunpeng, Junior Vasquez, Benji Arvay and Maxwell Annoh who all make their Burberry ad campaign debuts. Very good.
