Vetements Is Dropping A ‘Star Wars’ Capsule

Baby Yoda apparel 🤞

The fashion industry loves a good collab. Just this year we’ve seen Beyoncé and Balmain, Tyler the Creator for Lacoste, and  Macaulay Culkin’s Christmas sock drop. Then there was that bizarre Flamin’ Hot Cheetos collection at NYFW, Marc Jacob’s Girl, Interrupted-inspired merch capsule and who could forget when KFC (though not technically a collaboration) released their limited edition bucket hat? Sadly, not us. Now, the most hyped Georgian label is teaming up with the most hyped intergalactic film franchise…. that’s right: Vetements is dropping a Star Wars line.

Of course, Vetements is no stranger to collaboration. For their Fall 2016 collection, the label teamed up with a list of brands, including Eastpak, Canada Goose, Dr. Martens, Reebok, Alpha Industries and Champion, to deliver their take on all of their partner’s signature looks. I mean, that oversize MA-1 bomber was literally everywhere for two seasons… but a Star Wars collection? If it ain’t Baby Yoda snuggle boi jackets…

Dropping this week, the limited edition collection will feature Vetements staples like logo tees, oversized hoodies and backpacks, as well as some Star Wars-inspired evening wear…. whatever that means. Available at a select list of international retailers, including The Webster in the US and Flannels in the UK, luckily, the drop will also be available online via SSENSE. But since it’ll probably sell out in like, four minutes…. May the force be with you.

Sorry, we had to.
