Watch St. Vincent’s Trippy Pop Video For ‘New York’

Taste the rainbow.

St. Vincent is back and brighter than ever. Her new clip, unveiled today and directed by Oyster #111 featured artist Alex Da Corte, is colourful and surreal and like a New York we’ve never seen before.

Typical of Alex’s work, there’s a sense of humour related to found objects eg, burning spinach and purple latex couches sawn in half. In a press release, Alex said “I think Annie’s New York is the New York of my dreams — one that is blurry and fractured, dreamy and flat. It is the Toontown to my Hollywood. It is beautiful but slightly out of reach.”
